形態特徵

  • An evergreen small tree; branchlets densely ferruginous-lepidote.
  • Leaves imparipinnate, 15–25 cm long, 2–3 jugate; leaflets obovate-elliptic or oblong, thickly chartaceous, 8–15 cm long, 4–8 cm broad, opposite or subopposite, shortly cuspidate at apex, obtuse at base, glabrous above, lepidote beneath, the lateral veins 9 on each side of the midrib, slightly elevated on both surfaces, the veinlets rather loose; petiolules stout, 8–12 mm long.
  • Panicles axillary, usually shorter than the leaves, densely lepidote, the branches spreading; flowers 2.5 mm across; pedicels 1–2 cm long; calyx short, 5-lobed, the lobes imbricate, concave, suborbicular, glabrous, about 2.5 mm long; staminal tube rather thick; about 1.8 mm long, obscurely toothed; anthers 6, ovate, about 0.8 mm long, sessile, slightly exserted.
  • Fruit ellipsoid, densely ferruginous scaly lepidote, about 2.5 cm long, 1.5 cm across, the pedicels stout, 2.5 mm long.

分布

  • 台灣 : it occurs at low altitudes in Hengchun Peninsula and Is. Lanyu (Orchid Island).
  • 世界 : N. Philippines.
